fall/winter 2018/2019 collection
The historical technique of Collage is the inspiration of the FW 18/19 collection and gives the designer the opportunity to play with the overlapping leather pieces, stitching details and geometric decorations to enrich the clean and essential lines that characterize her creations.
This season’s color palette evokes the autumn garden. Deep and warm hues from caramel to brown are combined with contrasting colors like raspberry red and indigo to create a fun yet sophisticated style. The collection targets women of any age with a wide selection of models that strives for a refined and fashionable look.
The collection presents different models, ranging from totes to micro bags, including shopping bags and backpacks.
For this collection Lara reinterpreted some of her iconic pieces.
Vela and Flip appears with a new look called “Fru Fru”, where the original design have been reinterpreted with decorative leather handcraft. Lara has also chosen to play with the surfaces of her bags. She experiments the technique of collage and presents Vela and Kiki in a new version which has been created by intersecting lines and colors in order to create geometrical forms on their faces. The Kate bag is introduced in a chic quilted version and the mini version of Vela now is available in both it’s original design and in a one-sided studded interpretation.
The combination of precious “Made in Italy” leather and decorative elements such as studs and fringes creates a more tactile and experimental collection. Lara Bellini FW18/19 are therefore not only a prime example of italian luxury hand bags but also correspond to the latest trends of the fashion world.
